The Pig at Combe: Devon Staycation

Tucked away in East Devon’s Otter Valley, The Pig Hotel at Combe, is a beautiful 16th-century manor house full of character. Like every Pig hotel I’ve visited (Cornwall friends - we have a Pig at Harlyn Bay) it instantly felt familiar, yet special, with charm in every corner. I went with my sister Niki, which made it even more special, as we hadn’t had girl time like this since my gorgeous nephew Sonny was born 🤍 We arrived to pheasants watching us stroll up the driveway, before settling into our incredible room within the Stable grounds ~ absolutely beautiful.

Every detail at The Pig has been thoughtfully considered, from the moment you arrive to the second you leave. The interiors feel wonderfully whimsical, with something to swoon over at every turn, and there’s a little Hogwarts-esque magic to the place that makes it feel like you’ve stepped into another world 🪄 We spent the evening chatting over glasses of wine, laughing at our younger selves (the stories are ridiculous !) and properly switching off. We ate in the main restaurant, which follows their 25-mile menu, using produce grown and sourced within 25 miles, much of it straight from the kitchen garden on the grounds. They also have The Folly, their rustic pizza restaurant, which looked equally lovely and is well worth knowing about.

This was a gifted collaboration, but all views are my own. We had an amazing time!
