A Dream Picnic in Cornwall: Celebrations & Special Occasions
I’m counting my lucky stars. Last month the lovely Becky from @cottonandcoast organised the most incredible picnic for myself and 4 of my beautiful friends, overlooking Maenporth beach in Cornwall. It was quite easily one of the most creative & breathtaking collaborations possible.
Cotton and Coast offers luxury glamping tents across Cornwall so we were fortunate enough to have our picnic in the comfort of an incredible tent located on @penrosefarm. Penrose Farm is nestled in an idyllic rural setting just a few hundred yards away from the coast - a truly magical location for a dream picnic.
The wonderful ladies that were involved with the event used their sensational talents to create something that I thought I could only ever dream of. The girls are I was genuinely blown away. From the huge bell tent and the CHICEST picnic to the gorgeous stationery gifts, snazzy balloon arches, and little details such as the personal letters, rose wine, and Kodiak camera.

“Bell Tents are magical playgrounds for adults,” Becky, the founder of Cotton and Coast said to us - and I can tell you, she is not wrong! Becky offers bell tent hire for campsites, weddings, events, parties, picnics & back garden glampouts. After experiencing the picnic I would not hesitate to get in touch with Becky to host another special event. I could quite easily put my complete trust in her to deliver something truly magical.
Dine With Iris
The afternoon included a delicious spread, and trust me, it tasted as good as it looked. Every food included was locally sourced and carefully chosen. We had everything from fresh vegetables and fruit to a selection of bread, cheeses, and cured meats. Like a page out of a fairytale book, Briony the founder of Dine With Iris has a true gift and ability to create something beyond magical. I've never seen a selection of colour, textures, and food work so well together.
Spilled Ink Stationery
We were lucky to receive the prettiest gifts from Spilled Ink Stationery! Spilled Ink Stationery is definitely the fanciest stationery that I own. I’ve saved my notebooks for a special occasion - currently, they’re laid out in my bedroom as part of the decor. Ellie from Spilled Ink Stationery collaborates with Cornish artists and illustrators’ for the covers of her stationery. An idea that I absolutely adore.
The Youngest Child Events
Stephanie from The Youngest Child Events creates the most aesthetically pleasing prop hire. Think boho arches, dried flowers, and balloon creations. I've never seen anything like it! The decoration at our coastal picnic was completely out of this world. I certainly know where I’ll be heading when I need decor for my future wedding (one can dream.)
A bell tent picnic is genuinely such an amazing idea for a celebration or special occasion - a hen do, baby shower, or birthday - you name it. Package prices aren’t out (quite) yet but I’m sure that the team would be more than happy to accommodate.
